Dr. Bhaskar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Bhaskar is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant placement to removal of wisdom tooth, complex maxillofacial reconstruction and IV anesthesia. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial trauma, and oral pathology, as well as perform tooth extractions with a full range of bone grafting procedures.
The surgical specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to six additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training beyond dental school.

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Dr. Philip Bhaskar attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry. He received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Dr. Bhaskar completed a General Practice Residency at the UCLA-Wadsworth VA Medical Center, his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency training at the University of Florida and completed a Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida.
